General Health Check-Up Camp at Manasa Mantapa, Urwastores

The Department of Speech and Hearing, Father Muller Medical College Hospital participated in the General Health Check-Up Camp held at Manasa Mantapa, Urwastores, on 12 April 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

As part of the camp, the department provided hearing screening, voice assessment, and screening for child language disorders to individuals attending the camp. Several people benefited from these services and received appropriate guidance regarding their speech, language, voice, and hearing concerns.

The department’s participation contributed to promoting awareness of communication and hearing health and facilitated early identification of individuals who may require further assessment or intervention. Ms. Melissa B. Saldanha, Assistant Professor, Unit of speech language pathology represented the Speech and Hearing Department at the camp.
