General Health Check up at St Joseph The worker Church Sabha, Vamanjoor

A General Health Check up was organized at St Joseph The worker Church Sabha, Vamanjoor, Mangalore in collaboration with Father Muller Medical Hospital, Kankanady. It  was a single day event, during which the assigned medical team conducted screening test for the people in the locality.

A total of 100 people were screened. Our camp team comprised doctors from departments of General medicine, paediatrics, ENT, ophthalmology and speech and Hearing.

The speech and hearing services were carried out by Ms Shalabha Ammu Mathew (Asst Professor SLP), Ms Nainika  (Intern) and Ms Herline (2^nd year P.G). Each participant underwent appropriate screening procedures for speech, language, and hearing respectively.

A total of 10 participants were screened, out of which 3 of them required detailed audiological evaluation. Thus they received camp referral cards and were counselled to undergo detailed diagnostic evaluation at Father Muller Medical Hospital at concessional rates.
