General Health checkup Camp and cancer screening camp

A one-day General Health checkup Camp and cancer screening camp was organized in St. Immaculate conception church school hall, Urwa, Mangalore, Karnatakaon on saturday, 20-9-2026 between 8.30 am to 02:00pm.

Our camp team comprised doctors from department of General Medicine, OBG, orthopedics, opthalmology, General surgery, ECG technician, E.N.T, Speech & Hearing along with other laboratory and nursing personnel.

16 individuals benefited from the speech and hearing services provided, comprising 16 audiology patients and no patients with speech and language related concerns. The services were provided by Ms. Jenin Dsouza (Speech Language Pathologist Grade I), along with Prathista (Audiology PG) and Shiza (Intern). Each patient underwent a case history, otoscopic examination. Of the 16 individuals screened, 7 failed the hearing screening. Those individuals were provided with referrals through camp referral cards and were counselled to undergo comprehensive diagnostic audiological evaluation at Father Muller Medical Hospital.
