General Health checkup, Cancer screening awareness and Blood Donation Camp

A one-day general health check-up camp was organized at  St. Aloysius College, Mangalore, Karnataka on Thursday 27-08-2026 between 09:00am to 01:00pm.

Our camp team comprised doctors from department of General Medicine, General surgery, O.B.G, Surgical oncology, E.C.G Technician, Lab technician, E.N.T., Speech & Hearing along with hospital laboratory and nursing personnel.

6 individuals benefited from the speech and hearing services provided, comprising 6 audiology patients and no patients with speech or language disorders. The services were provided by Ms. Jenin Dsouza (Speech Language Pathologist Grade I), along with Jevisha and Shiza (Interns). Each patient underwent a case history, otoscopic examination, and screening audiometry. Of the 6 individuals screened, 3 failed the hearing screening. Those who did not pass the screening were provided with referrals through camp referral cards and were counselled to undergo comprehensive diagnostic audiological evaluation at Father Muller Medical Hospital.
