Participation and Outcome: All first-year students attended the programmes. The sessions successfully covered essential areas of workplace awareness, patient safety, infection prevention, and emergency preparedness.
The orientation programme provided students with important foundational exposure to gender sensitivity, infection prevention and control, and hospital fire safety. The combination of classroom presentations and practical fire-safety demonstrations made the programme informative and relevant to the students’ future professional roles.
