01  |  CAMP OVERVIEW

A Medical Screening Camp was organised at CANARA SCHOOL, DONGERKERY, MANGALORE, on Wednesday, 19th August 2026.

02  |  CAMP TEAM

The camp team comprised doctors and healthcare professionals from the Departments of General Medicine, Ophthalmology, and Speech and Hearing.

03  |  PARTICIPATION & SCREENING

A total of 100 students attended the camp and availed themselves of the healthcare services provided. All 100 students underwent speech and hearing screening. The Speech and Hearing team consisted of Ms. Hadline Rechael Noronha (Audiologist Grade I), Mr. Salsal (Postgraduate), and Mr. Sonu (Intern).

04  |  SCREENING PROCEDURE & REFERRAL

Each student underwent a detailed case history, otoscopic examination, screening audiometry, and speech screening. Students who did not pass the hearing and/or speech screening were provided with a camp referral card and counselled to undergo comprehensive diagnostic evaluation at Father Muller Hospital for further assessment and management.
