Annual Medical Check-Up Camp at at Canara High School CBSE, Dongerkery

An Annual Medical Check-Up Camp was organized at Canara High School CBSE, Dongerkery in collaboration with Father Muller Medical Hospital, Kankanady. This report pertains to Day 4 of the camp (31/07/2026), during which the assigned medical team conducted health screening for school students.

On Day 4, a total of 180 students were screened. Our camp team comprised doctors from departments of General medicine, paediatrics, ENT, ophthalmology and speech and Hearing.

The speech and hearing services were carried out by Ms Keerthana (Audiology Grade 1), Ms. Shiza (Intern) and Ms. Avanthika (Speech PG). Each student underwent appropriate screening procedures for speech, language, and hearing respectively.

2 students didn’t not pass the Audiological screening. Students who did not pass the screening received referrals via camp referral cards and were counselled to undergo detailed diagnostic evaluation at Father Muller Medical Hospital at concessional rates.
