Blood Donation Camp

A Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized on 22^nd  May 2026 at the Father Muller Hospital Blood Bank, in association with the Indian Red Cross Society and Father Muller College.

The camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Kirana, In-charge of the Blood Bank, Father Muller Hospital. The event witnessed active participation and support from the college administration, faculty members, students, and coordinators.

The Principal, Prof. Cynthia Santhmayor, attended the programme along with faculty members, encouraging students and staff to participate in this noble cause. The Blood Donation Camp was coordinated by the Red Cross coordinators from Father Muller College:Ms. Hadline Rechael Noronha, Audiologist Grade–I, Ms. Melicia Shainy Dsouza, Speech Language Pathologist Grade–I

A total of 22 donors, including faculty members and students, voluntarily donated blood during the camp. The programme aimed to create awareness regarding the importance of voluntary blood donation and to contribute towards saving lives through community service.

The medical team at Father Muller Hospital Blood Bank ensured proper donor screening, safe blood collection procedures, and post-donation care for all participants. The camp was conducted smoothly and successfully with enthusiastic participation from all involved.

All the donors were provided with refreshments (juice tetrapacks) after donation and were also awarded certificates from the Blood Bank as a token of appreciation for their valuable contribution.

The organizers expressed their gratitude to the management, faculty, students, and healthcare professionals for their valuable support and cooperation in making the event successful.
